TELLURIDE - Telluride's third annual 4th of July Hot Shot Photography contest saw 100 entries this year. First place went to Jay Wiskerchen of West Hollywood, Calif. for 'Telluride Firefighter Pride,' who won $500 for his entry.

Michelle Fortin took home the second place prize of $300 for 'First Parade,' and third place winner Kristin Davenport of Lookout Mountain, Tenn. took home $100 for third place for 'Celebrate Good Times.'

Fifty dollar Honorable Mention winners went to Olivia Graham of Telluride ('The Man Who Fought Many Wars… For Us'), Chris Gamage from Telluride ('Darth Vader Joins the Red, White & Blue Side'), Linda Hicks of Nevada ('Recipe for a Great Barbecue'), Sam Barnes of Telluride ('United States Mountain'), photographer Melissa Plantz of Telluride ('Celebrating Indomitable Spirit'), photographer Melissa Eabeaerwald of Seattle, Wash. ('May the 4th Be With You'), Johanna Lee of Boston Mass ('Patriots on the Roof'), photographer Manuel Da Silva of New Providence, New Jersey ('Happiness in the Ran'), Caitlyn Borosak of Telluride ('Feel Good America'), and photographer Tracy Phipps of Telluride ('Proud to Be an American').
