MONTROSE – The City of Montrose will hold its annual Spring Cleanup during the weeks of April 4 and April 11.

Spring Cleanup collections for the area north of East Miami Road and South Fifth Street will be made from April 4-7. The area south of these streets will be served from April 11-14.

All items must be placed at curbside by Monday of the pickup week for your area. To avoid disruptions to the routine residential trash service, please do not allow cleanup items to block access to city trash containers.

During the cleanup, city crews will collect landscape materials (such as leaves and grass clippings), scrap materials, unmounted car and small truck tires and unwanted appliances.

Tree limbs, routine household trash, hazardous materials, electronic devices, paint and large truck/tractor tires are not included in this service. Spring Cleanup services are provided, free of charge, to city sanitation customers only.

The City's Green Waste Drop Off Center will open, Saturdays only, starting April 2, for items like tree limbs. Free landfill day will be Saturday, April 16.

More information about these services, including hours of operation for the Green Waste Drop Off Center, is available at the following link.
